On Saturday I met with Tony at 10:00 a.m. at Southpark Mall. We wanted to get as much back stock onto the floor as possible for the last day of the Friends and Family Event. We started marking down clearance items in the stock room and replenished a lot of the sale merchandise. We also made sure that all of the clearance wovens were hanging on rounders in order to maximize sales. Before leaving, we made sure that all the displays were still set from Friday and that the shop was in order. Saturday helped me see how important it is to constantly make sure that sale stock is put out on the floor before it gets marked down again at the end of the month. By replenishing the stock, we can ensure that more sizes are available to customers which in turn will create more sales.
